The first time I saw a walk in bathtub was in Europe many years ago. I thought of all the people I knew personally who could benefit from this marvelous innovation. As my generation's parents grow older, many of my friends are worried about the safety of their aging mothers and fathers.

The fact is, for seniors, the bathroom is the most dangerous room in the house and for those of us with mobility issues, it can be dangerous attempting to maneuver the side of a traditional bathtub. Today, most seniors do not want to move to nursing homes or assisted living facilities. The cost alone is absolutely horrendous.
